Plymouth, MI mlive.com The Whalers Pink Out! effort for Breast Cancer Awareness continues tonight as the team will be working as waiters at CJ's Brewing Company at Compuware Arena from 4:30-7pm.
Tips earned from the event will go towards the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
The Whalers all got their hair dyed pink yesterday at Lucky Hair Company in Canton and will be wearing their pink jersey's tonight at CJ's.
The Plymouth Whalers are a Junior Ice Hockey team in Michigan. They're a big deal there. This story is so inspiring. Professional sports teams should take note! Any man that colors his hair pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month is automatically off the chizain in my book. Best of luck to them on their fundraising endeavor to save the ta-tas!
